Ingredients

Step 1: Prepare the Stuffing
- Heat 1 teaspoon oil in a pan.
- Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add chopped onions, green chili, and ginger. Sauté until onions turn golden.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
- Add mashed potatoes and mix thoroughly.
- Turn off the heat, add lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves. Let it cool.
- Once cooled, shape the stuffing into small balls.
Step 2: Prepare the Batter
- In a bowl, mix gram flour (Besan), turmeric powder, red chili powder, carom seeds, and salt.
- Add water gradually to form a smooth, thick batter.

- Heat oil in a deep pan.
- Dip each potato ball in the gram flour batter, ensuring it is well coated.
- Deep fry until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove and drain excess oil using paper towels.
