Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Dal
- Rinse toor dal under running water.
- In a pressure cooker, add dal, water, turmeric powder, and tomato.
- Cook for 3-4 whistles until the dal is soft and mushy.
- Mash the dal well and set aside.
Step 2: Prepare the Tempering
- Heat ghee or oil in a pan.
