  • ¼ teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ cup pasta water (reserved)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for extra richness, optional)

Instructions:

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Reserve ¼ cup of pasta water before draining.
