- 1 green chili, chopped
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 8-10 curry leaves
- 1 tablespoon ghee or oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Yogurt Mixture
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together yogurt, gram flour, and water until smooth.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and set aside.
Step 2: Fry the Fenugreek Leaves
- Heat ghee or oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds; let them splutter.
- Add asafoetida, curry leaves, green chili, and grated ginger. Sauté for a minute.
- Add chopped fenugreek leaves and cook for 2-3 minutes until they soften.
Step 3: Cook the Kadhi
- Slowly pour in the prepared yogurt mixture, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- Bring the kadhi to a gentle simmer and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add garam masala and mix well.

- Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
